Our New Name: The Nippon Communications Foundation

On April 1, 2012, the Japan Echo Foundation became the Nippon Communications Foundation. Our office location remains unchanged, as do our staff members and their dedication to producing quality multilingual content.

International symposium held on Oct. 22, 2011

The international symposium “Media Reporting and Risk Management After the March 11 Disaster” was held on October 22, 2011. The well-attended event featured a keynote speech by Bill Emmott, former editor in chief of The Economist, as well as panel discussions. On October 3, 2011, the Nippon Communications Foundation (formerly named the Japan Echo Foundation) launched Nippon.com, a website introducing a full range of information on Japan in five languages: English, Chinese (both simplified and traditional characters), French, Spanish, and Japanese.
